One of the best units of its time. This is an Alpine CDA 7840 which has 2 sets of 4 volt front and rear pre outs. The rear is switchable to a non fading subwoofer output by holding down the eject button. The multiple D/A converters (M DAC) add a ton of clarity to this unit.
Function tested and working with clear sound output. CD player works and plays but can be slow to eject. Missing mounting sleeve/retainers and trim ring. Some light wear on buttons but in great shape for being over 25 years old!
