RARITY: Atlantic Duamatic Champion – Bidynator Movement – Vintage 1950s ​A very rare model, in remarkable condition for its age—a true "collector's item." ​Details that make the difference: ​Legendary Movement (Bidynator): Signed. This is historically significant as it was the first automatic movement to provide winding through the rotation of the rotor in both directions—a revolutionary innovation at the time. Made of brass and plated in rose gold. Patented. ​"3 Adjustments" Engraving: The movement was adjusted in three positions (dial up, dial down, and vertical) to ensure timekeeping accuracy is not affected by gravity. ​Original Dial: Features a very subtle and perfectly uniform authentic patina. A clean aesthetic with applied Arabic numerals and raised arrow-shaped indices. ​Dauphine Hands: These retain the period-specific radium inserts, which have developed a superb patina. ​"Red Tip" Seconds Hand: The central red-tipped seconds hand provides a striking visual contrast. ​Stainless Steel Case: The case back is marked: Stainless Steel, Antimagnetic, Incabloc, Waterproof. ​Incabloc (Shock Protection): Marked with serial number 133611, a witness to the peak era of the Atlantic brand. ​Condition: Fully functional, of course. ​Strap: Comes with a new, generic NATO-style strap (though it’s not personally my favorite style...).
