Canon Powershot SX40 HS for parts (lens malfunction)
Selling my used Canon camera. I have owned this camera for years and have loved it. It is a great digital camera and the photos resemble the Canon G7X. Unfortunately there is a lens malfunction and when you turn the camera on, it says “lens error” on the screen. The last slide shows what the screen looks like when you turn the camera on. I tried to fix it myself but was unable to. I believe the lens are jammed or there may be sand/grit stuck in the lens and it needs to be taken apart and cleaned. I am unsure.
Comes with the camera. Battery and SD card not included. Selling for parts only as someone may be able to fix the lens themselves.
