Original price was $2500.
The painting is gorgeous and you can see that the artist managed to thin the oil paint in some areas to create an almost translucent look. Included a photo close up of the edge so you can see the brush strokes extend off the main canvas. This painting is in great condition. The nails holding the canvas into the frame did leave a few holes in the edge of the wood, does not affect the painting at all as this is standard practice and on the edges where you don't see. Also some missing paint where it was behind the frame on the edge from age. Doesn't affect it.
