Vintage 10k Yellow Rolled Gold Bulova Selfwinding Automatic Wristwatch Day Date

I absolutely cannot get the back off this watch. Too tight. Sort of works. Will run, stop with movement, shaking it gets it going again. I did not test long enough to see if day/date works. Crystal is scratched and cracked. Missing cap on stem. Look like rust or dirt on hands. Cosmetic wear. See pics.
