Vintage Mid Century Dogwood Milk Glass Gold Screw Back Earrings Unsigned Jaycraft Trifari
Lovely vintage 1950s white dogwood milk glass dangle earrings in gold tone metal with screw back closure. Alfred Phillipe patented this design in clip on style, but I have only found one other pair of screw backs in the exact same design stamped as Jaycraft. Jaycraft was a company owned by HEIFERMAN & BERGER, INC, out of New York, that was founded in 1946. Whether these pre-date the Trifari patent, on not, I’m unsure. Regardless, these will be a perfect addition to any costume jewelry lover’s collection, and could compete a married set or parure.
Earrings measure 1 3/4” in length and are 7/8” wide with two dogwood flowers dangling from golden stems. There is some playing loss where the two sections meet, as expected with age.
